One cuarzo command checks, builds and runs your programs. Pick your system; programs are built with GCC, so have it installed too.

The first release is on its way. Until then, build the compiler from source below.

Build from source

You need GCC available as gcc on your PATH.

git clone https://github.com/cuarzolang/cuarzo
cd cuarzo
gcc bootstrap/cuarzo.c -o cuarzo -lm

Add -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing for a faster compiler. Then put the cuarzo directory on your PATH and check that it works:

cuarzo run examples/fibonacci.cz

Releases will be published on GitHub releases.

Visual Studio Code: Highlighting, errors as you type, completion, go to definition, and commands to run and build.
Any editor with a language server client: cuarzo lsp speaks the Language Server Protocol. TextMate and tree-sitter grammars are in the compiler's editors directory.
