if score > 90 then

else if score > 50 then
    print("medium")
else
    print("low")
end

An else if chain shares one final end; else if must be written on one line. An if on the line after else starts an ordinary nested statement that needs its own end. An else branch is optional.

Conditions of if and while must be numbers or bool.
